Cannot remotely unlock or lock.

Question

Why can't I remotely unlock or lock my lock? Why do I need to be near the lock to change or edit codes? 

Answer

Our locks use bluetooth to communicate with your smartphone which does limit the range of some functions such as remote unlock/lock, changing or editing codes, and receiving unlock notifications.

Despite this, most types of codes can be generated remotely for immediate use (exception: custom codes or erase codes). See article for more information.
