Transferring a Sifely gateway to another Sifely Smart Lock App account is useful when you want to move control of the smart lock system from one user to another. For example, you might sell or transfer the gateway to someone else, or you might want to share control within a family or business setting.
Follow these steps to transfer your gateway to another account:
Step 1: Go to “Account Settings”
Step 2: Select "Transfer Gateway"
Step 3: Choose the Gateway to Transfer and tap “Next”
Step 4: Enter the Recipient's Information.
In the recipient section, enter the email address or phone number associated with their Sifely account. If entering a phone number, ensure you include the country code (e.g., +1 for U.S. numbers).
Step 5: Confirm the transfer gateway by tapping “OK”. Once you receive an “Operation successful” it means that the gateway was successfully transferred to another Sifely Smart lock Account.
Please note that transferring a gateway does not automatically transfer associated locks.
