Scenario 1: If you forgot your password and you are not logged into the Sifely Smart Lock App, follow these steps:
Step 1: Under login page, Tap on “Forgot Password?”
Step 2: Fill out the needed information and enter the requested verification code.
Note: For phone number users, please select the correct country code and enter your number (No need to enter the country code infront of your number).
Note: You can always reset your password without needing to be near the lock.
Scenario 2: If you are still logged in with your Sifely account and want to update your existing password, follow these steps:
Step 1: Tap on “Three Horizontal lines” from the top left of your screen and tap on the Avatar icon to access your account information settings.
Step 2: Tap “Change Password”.
Step 3: Enter your current password along with your new password and tap "Save".

When our old lock broke & we got a new one a few months ago, my dad got a new smart lock S. My SO tried logging in to the app to connect to the new lock, but it would not accept his password. When he tried to reset it, the app did send him a code, but every time he enters it, the app rejects it anyways. It would be nice to have an additional part in this article for cases where resetting your password was unsuccessful.
