What is the Events feature?

We introduce a new feature in the Sifely Smart Lock App called "Events" where the host (Lock owner) can easily manage the guest access by sharing with them the link to the created events, and the guest can access the lock by filling out the form to generate their access code.

(This feature is only available for online locks. Please ensure your lock is connected to a gateway or that your Wi-Fi lock is online.)

How to create/ add an Event?

Step 1: Select and tap the lock where you want to set the "Events".

Step 2: Tap "Access sharing". 

Step 3: Select the "Events" Section at the top and tap the “Create My First Event”.

Step 4: Tap the "Plus sign" below the screen to create/ add an event.

Step 5: Create an event by filling out the requested information. Once the information is entered, tap the "Continue".

• Event name
• Date and time
• Guest Limits
• Location (Optional)
• Descriptions (Optional)

Step 6: After successfully creating an event. Share the events by sharing the links via email, SMS, or other sharing options.

Note: Guests are no longer required to download the Sifely Smart Lock App.

How to view the created/ added events?

To view and monitor the created/ added events, please go back to the events sections where you can see set events for each month.

By tapping the set event, you can monitor how many of your guests have already filled up the shared link and generate their own access code.

Guests side:

Once your guest receives the shared link via email, SMS or other sharing option, they need to fill up the required details and submit.

Once submitted, you will receive the access code via SMS and email within 1 hour.

Important Notes:

• Created/ added events cannot be moved or adjusted to different dates.
• Guest access code will only be valid within set time and date.
• Events feature is only available with the locks connected via Sifely gateway.
