Question:
Why is my Sifely X Smart Lock opening when I turn the outer lock handle upwards? It doesn't fully lock when it says "locked."
Answer:
It is most likely an installation error. This often occurs when the calibration screw on the outer handle is not installed.
See the photo below that illustrates the proper installation as it relates to the front (Right or Left) panel calibration screw. installation
Furthermore, please ensure that the inside handle has the calibration screw installed properly as well.
You will notice that this screw will install in the opposite position (as left is to the right) in relationship to where the long end of the handle is located)

Finally, please ensure that the spindle orientation is square (not angeled or diamond) and that the top and bottom have an L or R. See image below
If these three steps are closely observed, there should be a much smoother installation experience.

Hey there. I’ve installed a Sifely X Smart Lock following all the instructions and when I tried to start all tests, it is always unlocked. When I try to lock through the app, it says it is locked, but it remains unlocked. How can I fix this? I’ve tried all the steps above and followed all steps from the manual.
