Sifely Smart Locks are designed to make home or business security more convenient with keyless entry, remote access, and easy management through the Sifely Smart Lock App. If you have multiple Sifely locks and want to copy settings from one lock to another, the app allows you to do this quickly without manually reconfiguring each lock.
Why Copy Lock Settings?
Copying lock settings can be useful if you:
- Have multiple locks in a building and want them to share the same passcodes and configurations.
- Recently installed a new Sifely lock and want to match its settings with an existing one.
- Want to save time by avoiding manual setup for each lock.
Most passcodes, fobs, and eKeys can be transferred from one existing lock on your account to another nearby lock, except for fingerprint.
In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to copy lock settings efficiently.
Step 1: Be near the lock that will receive the new code, fobs, and eKeys. Open the Sifely app and navigate to the “Lock Settings” page for this lock.
Step 2: Tap on “Import from another lock”
Step 3: Select the lock from which you want to import the information and tap “Ok”
Additional Tips:
✅ Ensure both locks are connected to the app via Bluetooth for smooth data transfer.
✅ After copying the settings, test the new lock to ensure everything works as expected.
✅ If the app confirms that a passcode has been transferred from Lock A to Lock B, but the code does not work on Lock B, follow this step:
- Perform the Upload Data Function on Lock B. This ensures that all transferred data is fully synchronized with the lock. Follow the instructions outlined in official guide for this process: Upload Data Function
