Samsung Fold devices use dynamic screen modes (Main/Folded screen and Cover screen). Because of their large and tall aspect ratios, some applications—if not fully optimized for foldable displays—may experience UI scaling issues.
Currently, the New Sifely Smart Lock App may display visual inconsistencies on Samsung Fold series devices.
Observed UI Issues
Users may notice the following behavior:
- Folded (Main) Screen
- Oversized or stretched UI elements
- Missing or inaccessible buttons
- Cover Screen
- Truncated or cut-off text (e.g., “Touch to Unlock”)
Temporary Workaround Solutions
While this issue is being addressed, the following workarounds may help improve the app’s display and usability:
- Use Split-Screen Mode when using the Fold screen (if available).
- Go to Phone Settings and set the App Aspect Ratio for the Sifely App to 16:9.
- Adjust the Text / Font Size to the second-lowest option.
- Disable Bold Font Style in the phone’s display settings.
- Avoid switching screen modes (Fold ↔ Cover screen) while actively using the app.
Permanent Solution (In Progress)
Our development team is actively working on a permanent UI compatibility fix specifically optimized for the Samsung Fold phone series.
While waiting for the official update, we recommend following the workaround solutions above to ensure smoother use of the Sifely New App.
