Why is it important that you know your Admin Passcode?
Answer:
The admin passcode serves as the primary passcode for your Sifely lock. It can be used to unlock the lock and perform functions that are not available through the app, such as:
- Overriding the secure lock/privacy mode.
- Changing the lock’s voice language.
- Calibrating the battery level.
How to Locate and Edit Your Admin Passcode:
Follow these steps to locate and modify your admin passcode:
Step 1: Go to the lock’s home page in the Sifely App and tap “Settings icon” from the top right of the screen.
Step 2: Scroll down and select the section “Device Info” under Info and Support.
Step 3: Tap on “Admin Passcode” to view or edit the passcode.
Step 4: Tap on “Passcode” and enter the new passcode and confirm your changes by tapping “OK”.
Important note:
- Do not share your Admin passcode to anyone unless necessary.
- Only the Super Admin (the account that first paired the lock) has the authority to modify the Admin Passcode.
- To edit/ change the Admin Passcode, the admin must be near the lock or within Bluetooth range.
