The Sifely Gateway enhances the functionality of your Sifely Smart Lock by enabling remote access and real-time updates. Once the gateway is paired with the Sifely Smart Lock App, it will automatically detect all locks linked to the app.
Setting up your Sifely Gateway is a straightforward process that enhances your smart home experience. Follow these steps to configure your Sifely Gateway effectively.
Step 1: Ensure proper placement: Install the Sifely G2 gateway within 20 feet of your Sifely Smart lock for a strong and reliable connection.
Step 2: Power on the gateway by connecting to the power source. The indicator light should start blinking red and blue, indicating it's in pairing mode.
Step 3: Open the Sifely Smart Lock App.
Step 4: Tap the three horizontal lines above the left side of your screen to open the menu and select “Gateway”.
Important: In order to add a gateway successfully, the super-admin sifely account must be used, which is the first sifely account paired to the locks.
Step 5: Tap “Next” only when the Wi-Fi Gateway light is flashing red and blue, indicating that it is in pairing mode.
Step 6: Configure network. Connect to the available Wifi network with 2.4 GHz Wifi network (IEEE Standard 802.11 b/g/n as the Sifely Gateway is only compatible with this frequency.) and enter the correct Wifi password.
Step 7: Go to Lock Settings and enable Remote Unlock
After successfully pairing the Gateway to the App and detected the nearby locks, you will noticed a Wifi icon showing on your lock page.
