Question:
How do I share passcodes via SMS/ Email on the Sifely Smart Lock App?
Answer:
On the Sifely Smart Lock App, we have added a new feature where you can share passcodes via SMS or email.
Step 1: Go to “Passcode” and generate/ create a passcode.
Step 2: After successfully generating/ creating a passcode, tap on “Share” that pops up on your screen.
Step 3: Select Share passcode via SMS or Email.
Step 4: Enter the recipient's phone number or Email address, Select Template, and Send. (Text messages and emails will be sent by a third-party service provider integrated into our system.)
Note: You can edit or make your own template. For more information about how to edit the template, please refer to this article. What is the “Template” option with regard to sharing passcodes?
Important Note:
- Both the super admin (lock owner) and the authorized admin can share a passcode.
- Users can only share one passcode at a time.
- Users can only share one passcode with one person at a time.
- Users can create up to 50 templates per account.
- This feature is currently offered for free, but charges may apply in the near future.
You can also share the passcode using your personal SMS or Email.
Select “More” when you share the passcode and select “Messages” or “Email”.
To share an existing passcode, please refer the steps below:
- Select an existing passcode you want to share.
- On the passcode information, tap the Arrow above your screen.
- Share the passcode via SMS or Email.
