Why is my paired gateway unable to find nearby locks?
Answer:
Even the best products can have imperfections.
To ensure optimal performance, please verify the following:
- Account Ownership: You must be the owner/super admin of the lock. Authorized admins cannot connect locks to a gateway.
- Lock Pairing: Ensure your lock(s) are successfully paired with the Sifely app.
- Gateway Proximity: Place the gateway within 10 feet of your locks.
- Gateway Status: The gateway light should be blinking blue, indicating a Wi-Fi connection.
If the issue persists, try the following:
- Power Cycle Lock: Remove and reinsert the lock's batteries.
- Wait: Allow 15 minutes for the gateway to re-establish the connection.
