What can I do if the Sifely E Smart Lock (Deadbolt) latch will not fully retract or fully extend?
Answer:
This requires reinstalling the lock. The problem is most likely related to the spindle's orientation or the Calibration Switch.
- If the door opens on the Left side (facing it from the outside), the spindle (shaft) must be inserted in a straight verticle or orientation into the latch hole.
- If the door opens on the right side (facing from the outside), the spindle (shaft) must be inserted in a straight horizontal orientation into the latch hole.
- The latch hole must always be at a square orientation, not an angled or diamond orientation.
