The Sifely-O Deadbolt has an IP65 rating. It is not waterproof but water resistant. It can be installed outdoors and withstand up to 30 minutes of light rain or water splashes.

The Sifely-O Deadbolt has an operating temperature range of 14° F to 158°F (-10°C to 70° C).

If you have a porch or a roof overhead, we suggest installing the lock outside. This will shield the lock from heavy rain or severe weather conditions. Excessive exposure to rain may cause the lock to malfunction, preventing you from using certain unlocking methods (such as the passcode, fingerprint, or fobs). In this situation, we recommend using the Sifely App to unlock the lock or using the physical key provided.
