To input a passcode, follow these steps:

1. Touch the lock's keypad to light up the keypad. Tip: Tap on the keypad as if you were tapping a smartphone. 
2. On the lock's keypad, type in  the passcode number and then hit the # symbol
3. The lock should audibly say "unlocked," and you can turn the handle to open it.
