What is the Privacy Lock Switch button?

What are the functions of the Privacy Lock Switch button? 

How can I temporarily restrict/ disable others from unlocking the door?

Answer:

On the new version of the Sifely S smart lock (Blue and White box), this Privacy Lock switch button is available.

How does it work?

When the Privacy Lock button is switched to Red (Lock position), the lock is manually locked from the inside, and you will hear the lock say “Secure lock is ON” any generated/ created passcodes, registered fingerprints, and fobs are disabled from unlocking the lock.  During this time, the lock can only be opened by the Admin's app or the Admin Code.

When the Privacy lock button is switched to Green (Unlock position), you will hear the lock say “Secure lock is OFF” any valid passcode, fingerprint, fob, authorized admin or ekeys, wireless keyfob can unlock this.

Important reminder:

• The Privacy lock switch button can be used to manually lock from the inside even if the Privacy mode is turned off.
• This Privacy lock switch button will automatically be disabled or switch back to the Unlock position when exiting (turning the inside handle).
• During passage mode, the Privacy lock switch button can still be used.
