How do I set up a Sifely Gateway with my Sifely Account?
Answer:
Here is a step-by-step article explaining Gateway pairing and configuring.
Part A: Steps for pairing the Gateway to your Sifely Smart Lock App:
Step 1: Log in to your Sifely Smart Lock App
Step 2: Tap the on the top left corner of the Sifely App Screen
Step 3: Select Gateway
Step 4: Tap on the (+) sign located on the top right of the corner of the screen, and then on the following screen, choose the gateway type (wired or wifi)
Step 5: The Next page will tell you to reconnect the power to the Gateway to put it in pairing mode (Red and blue LED flashing)
Step 6: On the next page, select the (+) sign to the right of the Gateway result that appears (it should look something like the image below)
Please note: At this point, you will see a blue LED on the Gateway. This does not mean it is configured with the Wifi yet, and it will turn red again if the Configuration steps take too long.
Part B: Wifi Configuration Steps:
Step 7: Choose the local wifi network (it must be a 2.4G network) and fill out the requested information including Wifi Password and Gateway Name (you can give it any name you want)
And click “OK.”
Step 8: Hit “OK” and wait for a message on the App to say “Gateway Added successfully.”
Here is a guide to the Gateway lights to help you understand the online or offline status.
- If the gateway is blinking BLUE, it means that it is successfully connected to the local Wi-Fi.
- If the gateway blinks RED, it is not connected to the local Wi-Fi.
- If the gateway flashes RED/BLUE, it is ready to pair and set up with your phone.
Step 9: Once you see the "Gateway added successfully" message, your gateway will begin scanning for locks already paired with your app. This process may take up to 3 minutes.

Please Note:
- The Sifely Gateway will only work with 2.4G networks
- To ensure a stable connection, position the gateway within 15 feet of your locks.
- We recommend pairing up to 2 locks per gateway to avoid connection issues.
