What do I do if my thumbprints are not working on the Sifely-X Smart Lock?
If you are experiencing difficulties using your fingerprint to unlock, you're not alone. During colder weather, the fingerprint reader needs more energy to activate. This means that if you have a cold finger(s), the sensor may not recognize your fingerprint. Here is what we recommend:
- Try lighting up the lock keypad first, then using your fingerprint.
- Ensure that your fingerprints are warmer when trying to use the fingerprint sensor. (Maybe, rub your hands together for a moment or breathe into them).
- Ensure that the fingerprint recognition area is clean and dry. Clean it up again before use.
- If this does not help, try using the app to open it and contact customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org.
