What does this "Lock is not in setting mode" mean? I cannot pair the lock because it is not in setting mode.
A lock is not setting mode can be caused by 2 factors.
1. The lock is not "awake" to respond to pairing.
2. Lock is already paired with one account and cannot be paired with more accounts.
If you are not able to pair the lock, we recommend trying to tap the keypad of the lock to illuminate the numbers in the keypad during the pairing process. We also recommend the following:
- Restart your smartphone.
- Restart the bluetooth on your smartphone,
- Take out the lock's batteries and place them back in again.
