Why is my lock doing the opposite? It’s unlocking instead of locking.

Please follow the steps below to re-installing the lock to solve the issue.

Step 1. Take the front panel, and ensure the "lock shaft tightener" is vertically aligned with the ground,
not to the left, not to the right.

Step 2: Ensure the “Shaft Hole” on the latch is squarely straight to the ground, not at 45 degrees.

Step 3: Insert the lock shaft into the shaft hole and re-install the lock. During installation, please ensure that all screws are tightened appropriately.
